Our work 2023
Carpet and tile out, one floor in
A whole house of worn carpet and ceramic tile replaced with one continuous vinyl plank floor.

This home had carpet in the living areas and bedrooms and ceramic tile everywhere else, with curved transitions where the two met.
We pulled the carpet and tile, then poured self-leveling compound where the tile had left the slab uneven. Vinyl plank only looks and feels right on a flat floor, so this is the step that matters most.
The new waterproof plank runs from the kitchen through the living, dining, hallways and bedrooms without a break.
On the job

Pouring self-leveler where the tile came out

Leveler spread across the old tile line

Self-leveler finds its own level across the dip

Hallway leveled before the plank goes down

Low spots filled through the living area

Leveled and drying, ready for plank
